Should I buy the Helix Midnight Elite or the Saatva Latex Hybrid?
For most buyers, the Saatva. It scores higher at NapLab (9.42 against 9.21), costs about $560 less on current sale prices and has a 365-night trial. Side sleepers who want deep, contouring pressure relief are the exception, and the Midnight Elite is built for them.
On NapLab's scale, the Saatva Latex Hybrid leads on overall score, motion isolation, edge support and responsiveness, scoring 10/10 on each of the last three. The Midnight Elite leads on pressure relief (10 against 9.0) and cooling (10 against 9.0). NapLab says the Elite's deep sinkage suits side sleepers, and that the Saatva's minimal sinkage may not contour enough for some of them.
On price, Saatva listed a Queen at $2,434 on 27 September 2026, against $2,998 for a Queen Midnight Elite with Helix's 25% code on 17 September. Both makers discount often, so check both on the day. Saatva's trial is 365 nights to Helix's 120, and both carry lifetime warranties.
If you sleep on your back or stomach, move around at night, or share the bed and care about bounce, the Saatva is the stronger choice. If you sleep on your side and your shoulders or hips ache on firmer beds, the Midnight Elite is the reason to pay more.
Reddit will not settle it for you. r/Mattress is sceptical of both brands as affiliate-marketing favourites, with complaints about Saatva's build as well as Helix's, while owners of each report years of satisfaction. The one point owners agree on is the one in Saatva's favour: the 365-night trial.
