By component, a published price guide puts screens and enclosures at 40-60% after two to three years, mats at 30-50% depending on wear, and complete packages at 50-60% after two years. Age-based retention runs from 80-85% of current retail in the first year down to 35-45% after five.
Transferable software is what separates a monitor that holds value from one that does not. A unit whose licenses stay with the hardware can be sold as what the listing shows, while one that requires the buyer to start a new plan sells at a discount equal to that plan. Owners selling Foresight units report registering them to a dedicated email address so the account can be handed over with the hardware.
The uncontrolled variable is the manufacturer. Three units in this category were discounted by $700 to $1,300 during 2026, and each cut lowered the ceiling for every used listing beneath it.
